Hey there, my name is Alexandra Streisand. I’m a Certified Confidence & Relationship Coach, a world traveler at heart, and a woman who’s forever fascinated by what it means to feel deeply alive.
I was born and raised in New York, surrounded by the intensity of energy, ambition, and resilience. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to people: their stories, their emotions, their patterns, and the quiet moments that shape who they are. I’ve always wanted to understand what helps someone believe in themselves again after life has tested them, and what keeps them from seeing their own strength when it’s right there within them. I’ve spent much of my life exploring what it takes to help someone rise; to rebuild trust in themselves, piece by piece, until they remember the power that’s always been theirs.
My journey began at Johnson & Wales University, where I majored in Business and Restaurant Management with a minor in Psychology. But more than anything, it was where I fell in love with the art of serving others. I found myself drawn to every opportunity to connect: organizing community projects, volunteering, and finding meaningful ways to support people who simply needed someone to believe in them. Those experiences taught me that true leadership isn’t about titles or achievements; it’s about presence, compassion, and the willingness to show up for others when they need it most.
After graduation, I stepped into a leadership role managing a restaurant in New York City; a world that was fast-paced, demanding, and full of challenges. I learned how to lead a team, navigate chaos with grace, and find solutions in the middle of pressure. On the outside, it looked like success…like I was thriving. But behind the polished smiles and endless shifts, there was a deep emptiness quietly beginning to consume me.
I tried to drown it out with busyness. I told myself, This is what success looks like.
I tried to be grateful, to stay in line, to quiet the voice that whispered, “This isn’t where you’re supposed to be.”
But the truth has a way of finding you, especially when you keep trying to outrun it.
The harder I worked, the louder that whisper became. It weighed heavy on my chest and continuously reminded me that what I was building looked nothing like what my soul was craving.
I didn’t want more hours or more recognition..I wanted more aliveness. More meaning. More connection. More impact.
And eventually, that whisper became impossible to ignore. The life I had built, the path I thought I wanted, suddenly felt hollow. I knew I couldn’t stay.
I worked hard at finding the courage to take the leap…to leave everything familiar behind: the title, the certainty, the salary. Instead, I chose to trust my gut, and most importantly, to trust myself. It wasn’t easy. Fear pulled at me constantly - reminding me of the risks, the unknown, the what-ifs. But beneath it all, there was a quiet certainty I couldn’t ignore: that life was waiting for me somewhere beyond the walls I had built for comfort and security.
So, with the help of my brother, I packed a single backpack (that was basically the size of me) and chose to jump into the unknown…alone. I let curiosity guide me: from Israel to Taiwan, and all the way to Thailand. Immersing myself in cultures that challenged, inspired, and opened me in ways I didn’t know existed. I taught English to children whose laughter reminded me of what it meant to be playful again. I cooked meals with local families whose gratitude reminded me of simplicity and presence. I bathed elephants in the jungle and felt the quiet, profound connection that comes from being fully present in a moment.
Every experience unraveled another layer of who I thought I had to be, and allowed the real me to emerge: alive, awake, and fiercely connected to what matters most.
It was in these moments, far from the life I thought I wanted, that I discovered my true purpose: to help others find themselves again, to guide them back to the strength, confidence, and clarity they already carry inside…the part of them that just needs permission to rise.
My Passion:
Today, I help people reconnect with themselves. I help them peel back the layers of self-doubt, fear, and the feeling of “not being enough” - guiding them back to the version of themselves that feels grounded, confident, and whole.
My coaching isn’t about fixing or forcing, because you were never broken. It’s about remembering who you are beneath all the noise and chaos: remembering your truth, your strength, and the part of you that has always known you are enough.
I hold space for the complexity of life: for the messy, the heavy, the in-between, and the moments that don’t fit neatly into a box. From the times when you’re questioning everything, to the moments when you finally exhale and feel, “This is me.”
That’s where transformation begins: in presence, in letting go, in coming fully home to yourself.
If you’ve been longing to feel alive, fully seen, and completely yourself, I’m here to walk beside you.
Step by step, breath by breath, breakthrough by breakthrough - it is my promise to create a safe space for you to release what no longer serves you, reclaim your confidence, and rise into the person you’ve always known you were meant to be.
